Atisi Riddle, Founder and Executive Director
Atisi Riddle is the visionary founder behind Evening Star Early Learning Center NFP, bringing more than two decades of hands on childcare leadership, community service, and early education advocacy to Chicago’s South Side. Her passion for supporting working families inspired the creation of a childcare program that goes beyond supervision to provide stability, opportunity, and long term developmental success for children.
Recognizing that reliable childcare is essential for employment, education, and economic mobility, Atisi built Evening Star around workforce supportive childcare services. The center partners with families, employers, and community organizations to remove childcare barriers so parents can work, advance professionally, and build stronger futures while their children receive high quality early education.
Under her leadership, Evening Star has grown into a trusted early learning program known for safe environments, inclusive care, academic readiness, STEM enrichment, and family centered support. Atisi remains deeply committed to community impact, continuous quality improvement, and creating opportunities that strengthen both children and the families who care for them.
Her mission is simple but powerful: when families are supported, children thrive and communities flourish.
